Trad for Trocaire

Trocaire and Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Eireann have come together to run a ‘Trad for Trocaire’, a new national fundraising initiative geared towards raising funds for Trocaire. It is intended that this will run for a week from September 23rd to 29th and musicians str encouraged to hold traditional Irish music sessions in pubs and other venues around the country. This is an exciting opportunity for publicans to get involved with Trocaire, and have an event that should attract and increase footfall on a given night or nights during that week.
Trocaire will look after the launch, radio, press and social networking advertising and It will be up to the publican to organise the musicians and whatever advertising you want to do locally. VFI members can register online at http://www.trocaire.org/trad or by calling 1850 408 408.
