About Us
The Imperial Hotel Ballyshannon was established in 1781. The Dorrian family purchased the hotel over 70 years ago, it has been extended and renovated over the years, tastefully blending the old with the new, bringing it to the excellent standard it is today.
With over 70 years experience as a family-run hotel, now it is better known as Dorrians Imperial Hotel.

The Assaroe Lounge is a spacious bar, named after the famous Assaroe Falls that graced Ballyshannon in earlier days.
Our elegant restaurant offers excellent Irish cuisine, enhanced by a carefully chosen and imaginative wine list. Menus are all designed by our Head Chef, who relishes in using wonderful natural fresh produce, much of which is available in the area.
