About Us
Coolera House has long been one of the better-known pubs and venues in the North West. Throughout the l970’s and early 80’s Coolera House was infamous for its wild nights and musical reputation where the likes of Marianne Faithful, Christy Moore, The Wolfe Tones, Johnny McEvoy, Planxty, Brendan Grace and Midnight Well, to name but a few, graced it’s stage. Since the new millennium Coolera has fittingly restored its ties with the very best contemporary music, albeit a new generation, and has seen top Irish acts such as Damien Rice, Perry Blake, Turn and The Frames play in recent times. Music is once again becoming a centrepiece in the venue with regular shows that vary from folk sounds to alternative rock. Come and enjoy one of the best pints in Sligo in our welcoming and cosy front bar. "Great Guinness"
I was passing by the area recently on the way home from Strandhill and popped in here one evening. Had a fantastic pint of Guinness, one of the best in a long time. Nice barman, friendly conversation and a great pint...what more could ya want!

"Great pub"
Great bar for a different night out outside the city. Had much craic there recently with the pints flowing. Friendly staff, great Guinness and warm surroundings. Recommended.
