Clonea Strand Hotel overlooks the EU Blue Flag, Clonea Beach. Family-run by the McGrath Family since 1982.
Our Lounge Bar is the ideal place to unwind after a stroll on the beach or for those summer evenings. We have 59 Room, All rooms are en suite with tea/coffee making facilities, hairdryer and colour TV, built and furnished to a comfortable standard in the early 90’s. Indoor leisure centre with heated pool, jacuzzi, sauna, Turkish bath, gymnasium and 10 Pin Bowling Alley. Our Hotel has a 1000 sq foot children's Soft Play facility. www.playloft.net
Situated close by is our 18 hole Gold Coast Golf Course bordering on the Atlantic Ocean with a scenic background of Dungarvan Bay and Comeragh Mountains. Our Bay Restaurant specialises in locally caught seafood. The Hotel boast up to the minute meeting and conference facilities that may cater for groups from 6 to 450 delegates. "Great Value Family Holiday"
Clonea Strand Hotel and Gold Coast Holiday complex's are the ideal family place to stay. My family and i have been coming down here for ten years to holiday. We have everything for the children's needs and our own as well, safe cycling paths, bowling, swiming, lovely walks and right beside the sea just a few kilometres outside Dungarvan.
This resort is run by the McGrath Family and their staff. They leave no stone unturned to ensure a perfect stay in their Hotels or in their Camping and caravan facilities close by. It is totally non comercialized for kids and still allows them plenty to do.
