Tom & Gerry’s Pub is situated right in the heart of Limerick on Lower Glentworth Street. It is one of the most popular venues for nightlife and entertainment where customers can really let their hair down. The pub is proving popular with tourists and locals alike. All sporting events including Championship Hurling and Football, Premiership Games, Champions League, Six Nations and the Heineken Cup, are shown live. This makes Tom & Gerry’s the number one entertainment venue in Limerick for all sporting events. It is the focal point for any sporting event from GAA to Soccer to Rugby. Present owner Ger Purcell (since 1996) renovated the premises in 2006. Always of a high standard, the pub is a credit to its owner and one that will always be remembered by its visitors. Tom & Gerry’s also caters for live music and DJ’s and parties on request. There is a very warm atmosphere in this much loved local pub on those cold winter days - relax with a pint or a hot whiskey. For smokers we have a sheltered little spot out the back where you can get a bit of peace, although you’d never know who you’d meet out there! A world renowned “Limerick Rugby Pub”, Tom & Gerry’s is your choice of pub to view that big event that you want to be part of, to savour the excitement, the atmosphere, the crowd and the enthusiasm. During the International Season a large Welsh contingent use Limerick as their base as experience has taught them the craic is best here. On match day there is no better place to watch the game, or call in afterwards to experience the spirit that is rugby in Limerick and perhaps rub shoulders with the players. "The Taff's came to Town"
Great bar run by a great bloke...everyone there so friendly. Atmosphere on Heineken Cup weekend when The Saints came for pool stages was fantastic...we will make it even more special when we come back to knock you out in the quarter finals in April...bring it on..we can't wait...with love from 'The Taffs'
