Family run, 10-bedroom hotel. Food 7 days 9.00am – 10.00pm, Breakfast 9.00am – 12.00pm, lunch 12.00pm – 3.00pm, A la carte 3.00pm – 9.00pm. All local produced vegetables and meat. We cater for all functions; weddings up to 180 people. Live music at weekends. Dancing Sundays 3.00pm – 6.00pm. Top bands. Accommodation packages available.Local Attractions
Glenamaddy is known worldwide for music and dancing. It is a quiet rural town in the heart of North Galway. The Oakland Hotel is a 17th Century building converted to the highest standards by the Raftery family in the nineties.

"GREAT PEOPLE WITH GRACIOUS SERVICE"
HAVING BEEN TO THE OAKLAND HOTEL SEVERAL TIMES OVER THE PAST 10 YEARS, I CAN ALWAYS COUNT ON FRIENDLY SERVICE AND WARM HOSPITALITY. TOM & ANNE RAFTERY, ALONG WITH THEIR FAMILY DO A WONDERFUL JOB OF ENSURING YOUR STAY IS MOST ENJOYABLE. WHEN IN GLENAMADDY, OR WITHIN THE AREA OF NORTHERN GALWAY COUNTY, THIS IS THE HOTEL AT WHICH TO STAY. MY FAMILY AND I ALWAYS LOOK FORWARD TO OUR NEXT TRIP TO GLENAMADDY AND THE OAKLAND HOTEL.
