The Fisherman's Thatch Inn is one of those dying breeds of truly rural Irish pubs, a thatched pub located next to the Grand Canal in Co Laois, it dates back to the 1600's where local people get together for everything and anything - birthday parties, political get-togethers, after a day's fishing or for some traditional music night.
